This page explains how customers of CARSTAR SCA Collision consent to receive text messages about collision repair estimates, appointments, and service status updates. Twilio / carrier reviewers may use this page to verify our Call to Action (CTA).
Program description
CARSTAR SCA Collision (Walnut) sends optional SMS notifications related to vehicle collision repair, including appointment confirmations, inspection reminders, and repair status updates. The preliminary photo estimate is shown on the website and is not delivered by text. Messages are sent only to customers who requested a quote or body repair service and explicitly opted in. SMS is never required to get an estimate or to purchase services.
How customers opt in (CTA)
- Customer opens our online repair estimate request form.
- Customer enters their name and mobile phone number.
- Customer optionally checks a separate SMS follow-up checkbox. The box is unchecked by default and is not required to submit the form, view the on-screen preliminary estimate, or purchase services.
- Customer submits the form and immediately sees the preliminary estimate on the website. SMS is never required to receive that estimate. No SMS is sent unless the optional checkbox was checked. Customers who skip SMS may still receive a phone call from the shop.
